Mass Effect 3 and the “Extended Endings”

It seems common sense has finally prevailed.

There won’t be a new ending for Mass Effect 3 – however, Bioware will grant us an “Extended Cut” DLC which will explain what really happens in the last 10 minutes – and maybe we will finally get some clarity and closure.

Oh yes, the best thing is – the Extended Cut DLC for Mass Effect 3 will be free.
Well, at least until April 2014 … which seems rather odd …

So who does win now?
Apparently, everybody does!
The fans – they are going to get what we demanded – clarity and closure.
Bioware – they are about fan feedback and give us a free DLC.
EA – well, they actually allow the free DLC.

Rabidgames muses: Well, that’s some good news for now. The only question is Bioware manages to deliver a proper ending now. Let’s hope they manage to give us what we deserve – a great closure for a great story – and please, for our individual stories, too!
